KNOWLEDGE BASE

What information do I need to send an international wire transfer?

To send an international wire transfer, you'll need to provide six pieces of information:

  • Receiving bank's information: The bank's SWIFT code, their name, and address.
  • Beneficiary information: The recipient's name, account number, and address.

Visit us at any U.S. Bank branch to complete the request. We encourage you to make an appointment to allow time for questions and processing. See: How do I schedule an appointment at a U.S. Bank branch?

To learn more, see: Crack the SWIFT code for sending international wires

Remember that you can always contact us at 1.800.USBANKS if you cannot access a branch or have any questions.
