When a home loan (i.e., mortgage) is refinanced with another financial institution, the lender sends us a “Verification of mortgage” form. This form asks for information and payment history for the current loan, which includes:

• Origination date
• First interest rate
• First original amount
• Next payment date
• Payment amount with escrow
• Loan type
• Number of times delinquent within the last 12 months or less; depending on the closing date
