U.S. Bank donates $100K to United Way of Los Angeles, will activate ATM network to accept donations to the American Red Cross

In response to the wildfires in the Los Angeles area, U.S. Bank will activate its ATM network across the country to accept donations to fund American Red Cross disaster relief efforts. The bank also is donating $100,000 to the United Way of Los Angeles to support relief and recovery efforts.

U.S. Bank is a committed member of the American Red Cross Disaster Responder Program and donates $150,000 in U.S. Bank Foundation funds annually to the organization’s Disaster Response Fund. The ATM activation on behalf of wildfire relief will be in addition to that annual investment.

The U.S. Bank Foundation also will provide a 2:1 employee matching gift in support of wildfire relief efforts to the American Red Cross Los Angeles Region or United Way of Los Angeles.

In addition, resources are available to help employees impacted by these events, including the U.S. Bank employee assistance program (EAP), emergency grants, and an employee assistance fund.
