An updated Pride card design celebrates the LGBTQ+ community 

A new U.S. Bank Visa® Debit card design integrating the colors represented in the Progress Pride Flag will be available in time for Pride month. This new LGBTQ+ community-inspired debit card design is now available to all new and current U.S. Bank consumer banking clients.

“We took inspiration for the card’s design from an earlier Pride card, which was launched in 2017,” said Shailesh Kotwal, vice chair of Payment Services and executive sponsor of the U.S. Bank Spectrum LGBTQ+ business resource group. “Our new design retains the celebratory spirit of the original card and demonstrates our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion for LGBTQ+ community members and those who support them.”

The new Pride card is the latest addition to the U.S. Bank eco-friendly debit card range – a group of cards that are composed of recovered ocean bound plastic (ROBP). Crafted from upcycled litter collected in areas that are highly likely to feed into the water, these eco-friendly debit cards can help prevent additional plastic waste from entering oceans.

A new digital design for the card is also available in online banking and the U.S. Bank mobile app.
