How Do I?

Set Up My Card

  • Check the Status of My Credit Card Application? Please call 800-947-1444 and choose option 1 for the status of an application. The potential cardmember will be required to enter his/her social security number to locate the application. Additional verification item(s) will be needed to validate.
  • Complete My Saved Application
  • Activate My Credit Card: Follow instructions that come with your card or call the appropriate Cardmember Service number to the right.

Update My Card

Manage My Card

After logging in to your account you can

  • Make a Payment: Under Transfers & Payments, select Pay a U.S. Bank Account .
  • Set Up Account Alerts: Under Customer Service, select My Alerts.
  • Sign Up for Paperless Statements: Under My Documents, select Statement Preferences.
  • View or Redeem Rewards Earned: Under My Account, select My Rewards.
  • Download Transaction Data: From your Credit Card page, select Download Transcations at the top of the Account Activity table.
  • Request a Credit Limit Increase: Under Customer Service, select Self Service and then select Manage Your Credit Account.
  • Request a Balance Transfer: From your Credit Card page, select Request a Balance Transfer.
  • Dispute a Charge: From your Credit Card page, select Dispute a Charge under Take Action
  • Add a Joint Owner: Under Customer Service, select Self Service and then select Manage Your Credit Account.
  • Add an Authorized Signer: Under Customer Service, select Self Service and then select Manage Your Credit Account.
