2024 U.S. Bank Access Open Recap | Collin Morikawa + Youth on Course JEFF CLARK: Welcome to Maggie Hathaway Golf Course. We're celebrating the culmination of a partnership between Youth on Course, U.S. Bank, and of course, Collin Morikawa. CARL JORDAN: We're proud to announce that as a result of Collin's amazing play in 2023, we provided 1,585 memberships this past year through the Birdie Challenge program. We look forward to donating more going into 2024. We are also donating $200,000 to enhance the beautiful course that you're playing today and Maggie Hathaway revitalization program. COLLIN MORIKAWA: Golf has this great ability to teach all of us. And now that I'm a little bit older than you guys, I can now look back and say, it really does, how to interact with people, how to talk to people, how to respect people, how to be honest, integrity, everything. And that's the biggest thing today. What this course is going to represent and what it has represented is just being able to give access to younger kids, younger generations. DELPHINE PRUITT: This is one of the courses I learned to play golf on. And for folks in this community to have access to this golf course and get that exposure, I think it's really wonderful. LILY MORUA: I like that it's taught me how to believe in myself more. I've gained more self-confidence. And it's taught me to be more patient. COLLIN MORIKAWA: To have a partner like U.S. Bank and this team behind me all going for the same goal, trying to help out Maggie Hathaway, trying to help these kids, trying to help Youth on Course give more memberships to kids that can't afford it, it's phenomenal.
