Let US Lend a Hand
At U.S. Bank, we know paying for college can be challenging, especially with the cost of college tuition increasing and student financial aid sources decreasing.
That's why for the past thirteen years, we've offered our scholarship program to help students fund their education. This year, we continue the tradition through our Internet Scholarship Program, awarding up to forty $1,000 scholarships - 10 more than last year!
How do I apply?
Apply online - quickly and easily. No pens required. Our Internet Scholarship Program is exclusively for Web visitors and our online application is the only way to apply.
When do I apply?
Now! We'll accept applications through March 31, 2010. There's no time like the present, so apply today!
Who Will Be Selected?
Our Internet Scholarship Program is available to high school seniors (graduating in the 2009-2010 school year) and college undergraduates. Winners will be selected at random.
Do I Make the Grade?
In order to be eligible for the U.S. Bank Internet Scholarship Program, a student must be:
- A high school senior planning to enroll or a current college freshmen, sophomore or junior at an eligible four-year college or university participating in the U.S. Bank No Fee Education Loan Program;
- Enrolled by September 2010;
- A United States citizen or permanent resident alien.
So... Did I Win?
Upon selection, U.S. Bank will verify winner submissions and notify each scholarship recipient in writing by mid April 2010. Verification will also be made by phone or email to establish that your college selection has not changed. If your selection has changed and you are no longer attending an eligible school, your award will be revoked. Complete Scholarship Terms and Conditions are as follows:
- Scholarship award checks will be issued in August 2010.
- Scholarship award checks are payable jointly to the student and the school and must be endorsed by both.
- It is the recipient's obligation to inform U.S. Bank which school will be attended and about any changes in circumstance that would render the recipient ineligible to claim the scholarship award.
- Scholarship award recipients have no obligation to U.S. Bank.
- Scholarship awards are given without regard to race, color, creed, religion, age, gender, disability or national origin.
- U.S. Bank reserves the right to review and change the conditions and procedures of the Internet Scholarship Program - including its termination - at any time.
