Introduction and Summary
Welcome to the WorldPerks^® Visa^® Affiliate program! These branding guidelines are designed to ensure consistency and accuracy in representing the WorldPerks Visa products throughout the affiliate network.

1. Any variation from approved language, messages and creative units must be approved by WorldPerks Visa.
2. All emails must be approved by WorldPerks Visa. Affiliates are responsible for complying with email regulations. The use of email without appropriate approvals will result in disciplinary action including termination from the WorldPerks Visa affiliate network.
3. All creative housed on the affiliate site must link directly to the appropriate WorldPerks Visa splash page. The use of intermediary pages is prohibited.
4. These guidelines also apply to affiliates bidding on WorldPerks Visa keywords.

Definition of Terms and Language

Enrollment Bonus Miles Enrollment Bonus Miles (also referred to as Bonus Miles) are awarded to new WorldPerks Visa Cardmembers when they apply for, are approved, and use their WorldPerks Visa Card (or pay the annual fee, whichever comes first). Note: use of capital letters in Bonus Miles.

Bonus Mile offers are determined by the WorldPerks Visa affiliate marketing team. Contact WorldPerksVisaAffiliates@nordicclick.com to learn how you can qualify for an increased Bonus Mile offer.

WorldPerks miles "WorldPerks miles" refers to miles earned for the dollars spent on the Card. Use the full name "WorldPerks miles" on first reference, after that use "WorldPerks miles" or "miles" interchangeably. Note the use of capital and lower-case letters.

Annual Fees The annual fee for the WorldPerks Visa Platinum Card is $55 and the WorldPerks Visa Signature Card is $90.

Award Travel The term "award travel" refers to redeeming WorldPerks miles for travel on Northwest Airlines^® and other qualified WorldPerks Airline Partners. The term "free travel" is never appropriate.

Spend vs. Charge It is appropriate to use the word "spend" when referring to Card purchases. It is not appropriate to use the word "charge". Ex) Use the WorldPerks Visa Card and earn miles for the dollars you spend.

Proper capitalization There are specific usage rules regarding capitalization*. Follow these examples:
WorldPerks Visa(Note: WorldPerks is one word with uppercase "W" and "P")
the WorldPerks Visa Card (note use of lowercase and uppercase)
the WorldPerks Visa Platinum Card
the WorldPerks Visa Signature Card
the Card (but first, use the full name of the Card to which you're referring)
Northwest Airlines (never "the Airline" or "Northwest")
U.S. Bank (note use of periods in "U.S.")
Bonus Miles (note the capital "B" and "M")

All headlines are capitalized using standard sentence-case - that is, the first word of the sentence is capitalized, all other words are lower-case except for proper nouns and the exceptions noted above.

Note: It is not appropriate to refer to the Card as the U.S. Bank WorldPerks Visa, or the Northwest Airlines WorldPerks Visa.

Registered trademarks
The Registered Trademark symbol ^® must appear as follows in the most prominent use or first use of the following words in type:

• WorldPerks^® Visa^® (most prominent/first use in piece)
• WorldPerks^® (most prominent/first use in piece)
• Visa^® (most prominent/first use in piece)
• Northwest Airlines^® and nwa.com^® (most prominent/first use in piece)

"Prominent use" usually means in a headline. If the word does not appear in a headline, the next most prominent use would be in a subhead. If the word does not appear in a subhead either, then use the Registered Trademark symbol the first time the word appears in copy.

In addition to the above, the following graphic marks must incorporate the Registered Trademark symbol ^® the first time they appear:

• The Northwest Airlines logo
• The Northwest Airlines WorldPerks logo
• The word "WorldPerks" and the word "Visa" in the WorldPerks Visa logo

Note: Use of the Registered Trademark symbol ^® in a logo does not constitute first/most prominent use in copy.
