1. How does the Campus Banking program work?
The Campus Banking program adds banking functionality to your campus ID card. When you link your card to your U.S. Bank Student Checking account, you can use it to access that account at the ATM and for PIN-based purchases.

2. How do I know if my school participates in the U.S. Bank Campus Banking program?
Review our list of Campus Partners to see if your school participates in this program. Or look on the back of your student ID card. If you see a U.S. Bank logo, your school is a participant.

3. What special offers do you provide for students?
U.S. Bank has designed a checking account that is unique to meet the needs of students. U.S. Bank is a leader in student banking products and services, and offer students a competitive FREE Student Checking account.

4. Where can I open my account?
You can open your account at any U.S. Bank branch, or with a banker on campus during certain times of the year (i.e. orientation, back to school, etc.). You can also apply online through your school's U.S. Bank custom website, linked from our Campus Partners list.

5. How do I link my campus card to my U.S. Bank account?
Speak to a banker at any U.S. Bank branch. Just provide the 16-digit number that appears on your card to the banker and they will link it to your U.S. Bank checking account.

6. Is there a charge to use my campus card at a U.S. Bank ATM to access my U.S. Bank account?
There is no charge to make withdrawals or deposits with your campus card at any of our bilingual ATMs. There is no limit to the number of ATM withdrawals or deposits with a Student Checking Account.

7. Is there a charge to use my campus card at a non-U.S. Bank ATM to access my U.S. Bank account?
U.S. Bank Student Checking allows up to four free non-U.S. Bank ATM transactions per statement cycle.* This means you will not incur a fee from U.S. Bank to use another bank's ATM. However, remember that the other ATM owner may charge a fee.

8. Where can I use my campus card for purchases?
Your activated campus card will be accepted for FREE PIN-based Point of Sale purchases at over 1.2 million Interlink merchants nationwide. Interlink locations have PIN-pads available for you to enter your PIN and authorize your purchase. Ask your favorite retailers if they accept Interlink.

9. If I lost my campus card, how is my bank information protected?
Your bank information is protected because you have chosen a unique personal identification number (PIN), which needs to be entered to access your U.S. Bank checking account. To keep yourself protected, memorize your PIN. Do not write it down or share it with anyone.

10. How do I report my card lost or stolen? Where do I get a replacement card?
To report your card lost or stolen, you must contact both your university card office and U.S. Bank, either at any U.S. Bank branch or via phone at 1-800-USBANKS (872-2658). To get a replacement card, visit your university card office. Some card offices may charge a replacement fee for lost/stolen cards.

When you get a replacement card, visit a banker at any U.S. Bank branch to attach your new card to your U.S. Bank account.

12. Does my school share any of my personal information with U.S. Bank due to their partnership?
U.S. Bank does not ask the university to supply any student, faculty or staff information as a part of this program.

13. How does U.S. Bank help me manage my money?
The bankers at any U.S. Bank branch are available to personally help you manage your money. U.S. Bank has also created a four-part Financial Wellness program that can be presented to larger groups on campus by bankers or campus organization leaders:

14. If my school doesn't currently participate, who can I speak with to get this program on my campus?
The best place to start is with your campus administration, campus card office or student government. You can also get in touch with the manager of any U.S. Bank branch, who can get a Campus Banking representative in touch with you and your school.
