U.S. Bank Direct Deposit Saves you Time and Effort!

Convenient and Dependable

Sign up for Direct Deposit, and your paycheck or Social Security payment will be automatically deposited into the checking or savings account of your choice. You'll never have to rush to the bank to deposit a check again!

Once your direct deposit has occurred for two months, you may be eligible for our Checking Account Advance service. When unexpected expenses happen, you can take an advance against your direct deposit. Get cash fast, when you need it most.

Whether you're on vacation or out of town, your money is available on the day of deposit. It's there, ready for you to use - no running around, no hassles, no worrying.

To Start This Valuable Service:

  • Payroll Check - Complete your company's direct deposit form, or print the U.S. Bank EZ Switch Direct Deposit form (pdf). Return to your company representative for processing.
  • Social Security Checks - For fast and free enrollment, call the Go Direct help line at (800) 333-1795 or visit GoDirect.org to sign up online. You can also stop into your local U.S. Bank branch or Social Security Administration office to sign up.
To ensure quick processing, have the routing and account numbers for the account where you would like your money deposited.

For Social Security Direct Deposit sign up, you will need your social security number, the spelling of your name exactly as it appears on your benefit check, the amount of your most recent benefit payment and the check number from a recent benefit payment or your claim number from the paying agency.
